Project Background

Just Gents owner Danny wanted to expand the company's online presence and incorporate their current social media and booking system into one seamless simple user experience.

Initially, the first responsive site launched in 2015 and as booking demand grew he was able to open up a new Nottingham branch

Once this second site was opened I worked closely with Danny to refresh the company branding and tiw in their social media marketing.

The brief was to allow the user to view opening times, book an appointment, and view the latest social media in one place.

Having met Danny through my earlier football years the setup and maintenance of this site is continued for free in exchange for regular free haircuts!

Project Goals

• Assist in creating a company brand
• Display key information from both barbershops under one domain
• Display Instagram feed on site
• Allow customers to book online
• Allow users to purchase alcohol and promotional gifts online

Approach

• Created logo and promotional posters / window art for the Ashby store
• Designed and coded up a responsive portal with links to both barbershops
• Integrated Instagram feed via a third party API
• Integrated a third-party online booking system
• Setup and configured a Shopify store to allow product distribution
