Project Background

Boditrax is a fitness platform that helps its users review and track body composition data based on data captured using a Boditrax scan.

It also allows users to set goals, talk to a personal trainer, set up a training schedule, and follow a nutrition plan.

During my time at Boditrax, I was in charge of all front-end decision-making and design implementation.

Project Goals

• Evolve the existing interface with a responsive, modern UI
• Modernize the existing front-end technology and document any changes
• Redesign branding to give the company a consistent, modern look and feel
• Deliver a Boditrax app for iOS and Android users
• Upskill colleagues in front-end technologies

Approach

• Responsible for the front-end in a small, fast-paced development team
• Analysed existing system and identified key component styling
• Developed a brand new responsive UI framework from scratch
• Redesigned the existing Boditrax dashboard
• Designed and coded various interfaces, including the "Nutrition" and "Train Me" modules
• Involved in all frontend design decisions
• Assisted with site map creation and technical discussions with clients
• Created kiosk artwork for the physical Boditrax scanners
• Created branded artwork that was used on the office building
• Created branding artwork for promotional use
