Project Background

Arusha Beauty is a beauty salon based in my home town of Ashby De La Zouch. The owner reached out and asked if I could create a website to help expand their business.

Project Goals

• Establish an online presence, including SEO and contact information
• Display up to date treatment prices and information regarding the latest opening hours
• Promote offers to users
• Establish a way to provide users with gift vouchers
• Allow users to make online bookings
• Incorporate existing social media platforms

Approach

• Created a mobile-first, static presentation site using HTML and CSS
• Setup Google Analytics to track page visits
• Created a page to display prices and used the home page carousel to include the latest offers
• Integrated a third party gift voucher vendor into the site
• Added a third-party booking system to the website to assist with real-time booking
• Included links to Facebook and Instagram
